THE ART OF TEACHING
A little bit about me
Everything I do, however eclectic it may appear, emerges from one same underlying desire: a search for expression in its purest form. Either as an artist, from the stage in character or performing songs, or as an arts or language teacher in front of my students. Yoga came into my life as a means of training my expressive body and recognizing its states, allowing me to learn more about my "stage body". A "stage body" is presented in a hyper-specific way to express the message of that moment and it must contain and work with an extra quota of energy. To create the space for the extra energy and stage specificity, I got into the habit of physical training to keep my body strong and flexible. Yoga was the path I chose, and today after 11 years of practice I have my Instructor diploma under my arm. Dance, as a first cousin of theater and acting, has also been a great teacher for the training of the scenic body. Strengthening and plasticity also contribute to my growth as a singer: our voice is not independent from our body but rather a vibration that emanates from the depths, through it.

Lets learn together
Languages at your service!
Travel between worlds.
Learning a language, or translating a text, is about much more than knowing and understanding the words, their sounds, and the grammatical structures involved. It is about inhabiting a different perceptual world and the possibility of understanding and transmitting messages in it.
I am not saying that expanding one's vocabulary or learning grammar or perfecting pronunciation is not important. I'm just saying it's much more than that.
The relevant content to learn is determined by the student's need for the language. The need and purpose you have and the context in which you intend to apply the language are the determining factors of the content, the topics and the order in which they will be taught.
If you are interested in studying both English and Spanish, or in perfecting your speaking skills; or if you have a text that needs to be translated, contact me and I will respond as soon as possible.

Chinese Yoga
Attunement of body, mind and soul
The practice of Chinese Yoga is an ancient technique that integrates Yoga with Tai Chi and Chi Kung techniques. It focuses on training strength and elasticity, movement and breathing, thought and action. Its ultimate purpose is the integration and balance of our ability to be in the never ceasing movement of life.
It is rooted in the ancient and secret physical practices of the Tao, a spiritual worldview of life that is sustained by humility, simplicity, and the total acceptance of the ever-changing flow of existence.
